What Problem Are We Working to Solve?
Nearly all professions in the U.S. are over-represented by historically privileged communities. Marginalized groups continue to be disproportionately represented in America's professional class. This creates power and income inequality throughout American society.
For example, African Americans are underrepresented in 10 out of 11 professional categories in the U.S., while Hispanic communities are underrepresented in 11 out of 11!
Higher education has successfully made access to college equitable; however, inequity persists regarding access to highly ranked universities, enrollment in highly employable degrees, graduation rates, and career placement.
The Circle of Champions Network was established to help close these persistent equity gaps
