Shifting Student's Perspectives

At My Circle of Champions, we highlight student reflections that show how the program is shaping their experience and sense of support by centering student voices.

This month’s reflection comes from a student who shared that asking for help once felt uncomfortable and even embarrassing. They often felt they had to figure things out on their own, despite knowing support was available.

Through My Circle of Champions, that perspective shifted. The student shared that learning it’s okay to ask for help helped them feel more empowered and reminded them they’re not alone in feeling lost at times.

They also reflected on how the program encouraged them to focus less on the future and more on taking small, meaningful steps forward because some progress is better than none.

Student reflections like this help guide how we continue to strengthen and grow My Circle of Champions.
